Fingers Crossed!!

A few days back I noticed a dialouge which was common in mostly English movies and soaps which goes as "wish me luck, ive kept my fingers crossed!". I was suspicious to know about what is so special in keeping our fingers crossed, and after some research I concluded into the following information.
There are two types of luck; the good and the bad. It is human physcology that we all want good luck for us, and in order to make good luck our future partner we either pray and put our faith in Allah or we start believing in superstitions. In my opinion people with weak faith get themselves busy in superstitious belives and omens. Some of the famous omens are black cat crossing the road, ants in house, the mentioned above "fingers crossed", and the possibilities are endless. But lets think logically. Black cats are the creature of Allah. Would you like to be called as a bad omen just as people call the black cat a bad omen? Cant just people trip over and break a fragile item just as a mistake? Should ants be banned in houses? And finally, fingers crossed! How come it is considered as a lucky omen? These are just old wives tales and our weak faith!
Lets think logically that how emotionally man is tortured. He believes in things which has no certain connection in his future or changing it! How can a parrot tell about someone's future when he doesnt even know his!?! Lets think!
